I'm a new fan of the Animals. I first heard them when I saw the Monterey Pop video, in which they perform "Paint it Black". That song didn't make much of an impression on me, although I did enjoy it. But when I bought the soundtrack of "The 60s" (the NBC mini-series that aired in 1999) I fell in love with the song "Winds of Change". A friend then told me about some songs I already liked being by them and on their Best Of CD. Well I went and bought The Best of the Animals two days later and fell in love!
